Dunster Beach The Berm at SunsetDunster Beach is approximately 450 acres of privately owned sand and pebble beach, the Berm, Chalets, the Hawn with two lakes and a Nature Reserve. It also has a Tennis Court and Putting Green. Dunster Beach is run by Dunster Beach Holidays Ltd, a company whose shareholders are the Chalet owners.

The Chalets are within easy walking distance of the medieval village of Dunster and Dunster Station – which is on the West Somerset Railway. Minehead is just a couple of miles away and is easily approached by rail, road or on foot.

Dunster Beach scenic at sun set
Dunster Beach is ideal for a relaxing family holiday and is popular during the summer holidays with families and at other times with those wishing a little more peace and quiet.

Dunster Village is around 1.5 miles away and boasts cobbled streets a famous Yarn Market and, of course, Dunster Castle itself. There is a lovely ‘stream-side’ walk up to the village where you will find many small shops, pubs and tea-rooms to suit all. Dogs are welcome at many but do enquire first.

Dunster Village Yarn MarketThe South West Coastal Path also runs through Dunster Beach, between the Chalets and the sea, but it doesn’t detract from the glorious views from the beach side chalets.

Dunster Beach Public Parking and KioskIn the public carpark you will find a Kiosk serving hot and cold food and drink. This is mostly open during the summer 'letting' months. If it is closed the main shop is close by.

Centrally on the campus is a reasonably stocked shop with and a café that supplies hot & cold food, drinks etc. Also available are some ‘beach-wear’ items to help keep little ones amused. A short distance from the shop, and still on the complex is a small laundrette.
